I might a list of all HatPC glitches I could remember. The goal is to make a seperate article for each of this glitches and linking to them from here, like done with Fake Tiles.
Did I miss anything? Note that I am only including glitches, no physics abuse such as crawl jumping or swimming through arrows. That will get a seperate article.

Most of those articles won't be too big. Just a paragraph or two.

so would standing on the edge of a platform or terrain while there's a spike on it count as a glitch? or just a "physics abuse"?

Physics abuse. The spike is a bit smaller than a single tile, no glitches. Because of this jumping through two spikes that are touching diagnally isn't a glitch either.

or maybe we should just make it a list to include all tricks and glitches. no need to limit it to just glitches.

or maybe just an overall index of the entire HATPC Manual

Rows disappearing because of different lengths
Shockwave error by having no cave
Shockwave error by using the unused numbers
Shockwave error by using too many treasure chests
Opposite arrows making the row disappear

these aren't really necessary.

Dynamite Detonation Stop - what's this?

also, we can have them all hyperlinked to the specific section of the Manual.

Dynamite Detonation Stop - When more than 4 different dynamites explodes at the same time some of them stops at random. Play FCE III - Fury and you'll get it.

Those are all glitches. This article isn't necessary about helpful glitches, just glitches in general.

I merged two of the Shockwave errors together into "Shockwave error by having an incorrect cave code". I'm going to include the cave of only fake tiles in that one too.

The "cave of only fake tiles" is just by butting a fake tile as the first character, I believe. It's not that the whole thing has to be fake tiles. I think the crash comes from the maps inability to display a picture for it.

Is dynamite juggling on the list?
What about getting stuck into corners? (including locked boulders and getting into crawlspaces)
I feel like the ducking tricks are glitches, since you shouldn't technically remained ducked while jumping/swimming/climbing. Maybe it's physics abuse that the spike doesn't kill you when you're ducking, but it's a glitch that you're ducking at all?
And why not just include the physics abuse here? What all is there besides the jumping in and around spikes, which could like occupy a single article.
Is pushing boulders through arrows physics abuse? What's the distinction between glitches and physics abuse, and could be be a distinction without a difference?
Turning boulders around? Like, a boulder falls next to a wall, and you get it to move away from the wall by moving into it at just the right time.
Is water crates rising the water before the water taps are active a glitch? I don't know, but it's definitely borderline.
Removing the walls?:
- Ladders on extreme left will be hard to hang onto, ladders on right will be easier but still hard.
- Ladders on extreme left with wall next to them will be unclimbable.
- Ladders on extreme right with walls next to them will be hard to climb down, you will slowly move up, and when pressing up you go lightning fast up the ladder.
- Doors on either extreme left or right are not able to be entered.
- Spikes on the left don't hurt
- Dynamites blown up at the edge don't destroy other objects.
- Platforms destroyed at edges by falling boulders don't cause neighbouring platforms to be destroyed.
- Water taps don't fill up the extreme edges.
Spikes & the ceiling?
Shockwave error with dynamites next to edges.
Multiple gems/hearts/doors.
Breaking crates through corners, off the side of ledges (like, second treasure in RoD?
Entering doors that are blocked by crates?

I put a lot of question marks there, 'cause I have no idea what exactly qualifies as a glitch and what qualifies as "physics abuse". I'm hoping somebody would clearly explain the distinction.

Is pushing boulders through arrows physics abuse? What's the distinction between glitches and physics abuse, and could be be a distinction without a difference? Pushed boulders act as if they're falling. Falling objects aren't solid so arrows go through them. Physics abuse. It's a glitch if any of the seperate elements isn't supposed to happen (like going through terrain with ladders), it's physics abuse if all the seperate elements are supposed to happen (like here). The only case I'm doubting about is duck jumping and all related stuff.
Turning boulders around? Like, a boulder falls next to a wall, and you get it to move away from the wall by moving into it at just the right time. I'd say physics abuse.
Is water crates rising the water before the water taps are active a glitch? I don't know, but it's definitely borderline. I think that is intentional.

this is another case where it isn't clear.
Spikes & the ceiling? What do you mean?
Shockwave error with dynamites next to edges. will include
Multiple gems/hearts/doors. will include
Breaking crates through corners, off the side of ledges (like, second treasure in RoD? is a side effect of getting stuck in corners or going through terrain, but I might add them seperately
Entering doors that are blocked by crates? Might include

Spikes & the ceiling? What do you mean?

Spikes against the top-most row the cave don't hurt if they're five squares up, no duck-jumping required. Duck-jumping can stop spikes any height up, as well, if they're agaisnt the top-most row.

I'm not sure what that glitch was that somebody found with the floating boulder against the ceiling? And do floorless caves count? I mean, it's all physics abuse except for where you can remove the floor manually (like how you can add multiple gems, manually). Of course, now you have my cavemaker, but whatever.

i think all this should be included. physical abuse is nonsense, jell =\ we should make a list of alllll the stuff we know, all ways to abuse this game to our better. all in one list.

and ck i really don't understand that cavecode you posted. i really don't understand the point there.

As long as your holding right in that cave you beat the level.

Also, the regular user won't make any difference between physics abuse and glitches. Just add them all in the same list.

I too don't feel the glitch/physics abuse distinction needs to be made.

Oh and shockwave error by starting position next to edges. Wait, is that the cause, or is it just that the cave's too small?

I'll add the physcics abuse stuff. It will be far more likely now that I'll forget stuff, so keep an open eye.

That dynamite juggling appears to be a maximum issue. I think there can only be a maximum of 4 dynamites in the air, so the dynamites will disappear if you hit the next crate. I'll put it up as Dynamite Juddling now, but I could change it to Disappearing Dynamites later.

If it is true what I suspect, the juggling is merely an adaptation of the dynamite disappearing glitch. It will be mentioned in that article, but not here.

I've added most of the stuff mentioned and the stuff on CSD's site and my research thread in the Old Interguild. I've also made some other changes, such as combining all the Shockwave Errors.
I've also added the Great Glitch of '06 and of '07. But I don't really remember what the Great Glitch of '06 was. Anybody?
