SPARKING THE WAR

The first Red Remover competition thread was the Archduke Ferdinand of the June 6th Karma War. In said thread, Livio was framed for subtracting karma from a number of users' posts, and in return, his karma was brutally tackled. After Livio posted in reaction to the sudden attack, the mysterious KarmaBot appeared and declared all posts made by Livio in that thread its enemy. More karma was ripped away from Livio's total, and followers of KarmaBot began to appear. At this time, Livio's total karma was around 86, having begun at exactly 101.

KarmaBot appeared soon after in Livio's summer to-do list. Instead of planning an assault, however, KarmaBot unexpectedly boosted Livio's karma in a single post, neutralizing the post's total to zero. KarmaBot said that the anonymous user who subtracted Livio's karma was unjust, as KarmaBot had not yet declared Livio's obliteration in that specific thread. It can be assumed that it was one of KarmaBot's followers who "unjustly" took from Livio's karma.

THE WAR'S ACCELERATION

KarmaBot again appeared in a separate thread, claiming that Livio summoned him, and it once again made its objective the "obliteration" of Livio's karma, despite his prior assistance. Upon inspection, one can infer that Livio simply mentioning karma is enough to summon KarmaBot to his location. Once KarmaBot striked, its minions followed, and Livio's karma took a massive beating. At this time, Livio's karma dropped to around 75.

Livio retaliated by calling for the aid of InterBot, who edited all posts made by KarmaBot, leaving an enormous picture of a nuclear explosion behind. InterBot also left his message, "Interbot was here," at the scenes of the counterattack. KarmaBot, however, was not beaten: A short duel of post edits emerged from InterBot's attack, and within moments, InterBot was defeated. Both Livio and InterBot were met with more karma deductions after their defeat. At this time, Livio's karma reduced to a shocking 68.

A GRAND TURNING POINT

It was only after such a hideous downfall that Livio realized, in fact, he had the perfect means of achieving victory: Using his administrative powers, he stripped KarmaBot and a couple of his subordinates from their karma dealing powers, leaving KarmaBot virtually powerless. This was a devastating blow to KarmaBot's forces, but regardless, the harassment against Livio continued. Jazz, a KarmaBot follower, prompted KarmaBot to spam Livio's inbox with private messages. With no other option, KarmaBot agreed, and the spam began.

'KarmaBot's repeated nessage to Livio' said:

Already feeling as he achieved victory, Livio felt no need to personally react but sent InterBot in his stead. It became a clash of message spam. Prior to InterBot's attack, KarmaBot sent Livio an ultimatum, demanding the return of its karma dealing powers in return for the ceasing of its messages. KarmaBot took the response from InterBot as a refusal, and no agreement was met. The spam battle was short lived, the victor uncertain. Appearing defeated, however, KarmaBot announced his temporary leave, warning that he would return with a "resurrected Interguild member" that would aid his cause. A theory existed that the supposed "resurrected member" would end up being the famed a_neezles_a.

AFTERMATH OF THE FIRST BATTLE

After KarmaBot's leave, various new accounts sprouted in an attempt to further weaken Livio's karma. Although now deleted, these account names took after characters from the Super Mario series, including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad. It was confirmed that these accounts were not the doings of KarmaBot itself but, instead, one of its unidentified followers. This follower gave Livio trouble for a short time, until KarmaBot made a reappearance. KarmaBot told its follower to retreat, stating that they're handling of Livio's karma takeaway was "not [its] style." Both KarmaBot and its follower disappeared shortly after. At this time, Livio's karma plummeted to a total of 48.

Finally able to stand back up, Livio spent his alone time constructing a "karma nuke," which could blast away all karma dealings from the beginning point of the war. His first attempt at launching it slightly failed, only reviving 20 of his murdered karma. With a second blast, however, Livio was able to bring back even more, but not all. The karma nuke also, although unintentionally, negated the dealings of positive karma from before the starting point of the war, forcing Livio to say goodbye forever to a small fraction of his earned karma. He was able to revive around 40 stolen karma, making his total precisely 92.

User guyguyxtreme, taking pity on Livio for his dramatic loss of karma, supplied various posts of Livio with karma, restoring and surpassing his total to 102. While all of these events took place, Livio kept a live news feed in the Weekly Update of that week. During the sixth hour of the sixth day of the sixth month of the year, Livio declared the Karma War over. Little did Livio know, however, KarmaBot would show the next day, finally revealing its "resurrected Interguild member." After a long absence, user Florida made a sudden appearance, taking interest in the Karma War and declaring his allegiance to KarmaBot's forces. KarmaBot soon after confirmed Florida to be the resurrected member he foretold of.

RESERVING ALLIES

With its karma privileges restricted, KarmaBot had to rely on its followers to carry out its actions. Upon confirming Florida's alliance, KarmaBot tried to recruit various members to its cause. Likewise, Livio decided to take the opportunity in recruiting followers, and it was around this time that terms such as "Livioists" and "KarmaBotians" first formed. Both sides have had little success in recruiting a mass of followers. KarmaBot did, however, somehow manage to influence someone with administrative powers to its side, as Livio's messages were soon edited to make it seem like he surrendered to KarmaBot. Livio suggests that it was account dando52 aiding KarmaBot, although dando52 blatantly denied any involvement in the Karma War.

'Livio's surrendering message' said:

Livio soon suggested a compromise to end the bickering. He proposed that the differences between himself and KarmaBot be settled in the 2010 Interguild Olympics. Whoever's forces would win the most competitions would become the victor over the war. KarmaBot, however, rejected this solution, claiming that it would be the means of its end if accepted. After rejecting Livio's peace treaty, KarmaBot's administrative aid striked again, editing Livio's post in this very blog thread to read as followed:

'Livio's edited message' said:
oh no! communism!

oh no! and even worse!! my karma is about to be obliterated!

THE SECOND WAVE

By having the word "karma" in his post, Livio was forced in summoning KarmaBot to this blog thread, and thus Livio's karma was again in jeopardy. At first effect, Livio's karma only took a minor blow. As the hours passed, however, more of KarmaBot's followers began to show, prepared for battle. Worse than before, Livio's karma took an immediate and fatal blow, quickly reducing to lower numbers as the minutes passed. All of KarmaBot's followers simultaneously bombarded Livio with negative karma, some even making new accounts to increase the effect. Moreover, it appeared that KarmaBot had infiltrated the InterBot account through the aid of his anonymous administrator. KarmaBot left a message to publicly humiliate Livio in a separate thread:

'InterBot's infiltration message' said:
YOU CALL COMMANDEERING AN ACCOUNT HAVING LACK OF HONOR, WHILE I CALL IT A BATTLE TACTIC. YOUR OWN INTERBOT HAS BEEN USED AGAINST YOU IN THE ENTIRETY OF THIS SECOND WAVE.

TARGET: LIVIO
OBJECTIVE: HUMILIATE

FROM~KARMABOT

After mere minutes, Livio's karma reached to the single digits, and on June 6, 11:50 PM Interguild Standard Time, Livio's karma officially breached the negative numbers. Defenseless, Livio's karma was further shredded, dropping to an astounding -100 karma at June 7, 12:34 AM Interguild Standard Time. Once that achievement had been met, KarmaBot called off his followers from their attack, claiming victory over the Karma War of June 6th. Livio's highest karma total during the Karma War of June 6th was 105, whereas his lowest was -120. Livio's total karma loss was 225. Retaliation has yet to occur.

Dando52 denies any involvement in this such karma war. Anyone who says differently is just trying to spread Livio's communist ideas.

This is untrue. Initially he only took a minor hit, going down to about 96. Then out of nowhere, his karma was lowered to 74, and then 70. Then about 3 hours passed with no more hits to his karma, before the attack recommenced.

Livio's karma would go down in chunks, often stopping for a 5-6 minutes before going down another 5-15 karma.

The movement really gained momentum at around 25 karma, and it was able to rush into the negatives. It struggled by users, jorster, Silver, sup mus, rocket guy and bang jan one by one, but it gained incredible momentum, rushing past interbot and going from about -45 to -120 in a matter of minutes.

Then, suddenly, a cease fire was called, and KarmaBot was satisfied with his decisive victory.

This is one of the first times I haven't been particularly amused by a karma war although the only other main ones were shorter, based on non-real users, started by me or a combination of the three.
