Midnight V is pretty boring when compared to this one, to be honest. I had a lot more fun putting this one together.

Yeah, but you still have to figure out how to get back into the door. It shouldn't be too hard, but it depends on which path you're taking. Not to mention you may have potentially messed up at the start.

I tried as hard as I could, but predictably I failed even more extreme then MV and 0G2 combined. I have a feeling this cave has a lot of potential, though I'm sure I couldn't get anywhere. Though I do agree that the map is quite intimidating.

Too much unused space on the map.
Unfortunatly that is the only piece of advice/critisism I can give at the moment.

Yaya - Here's a start
Avoid interacting with the opening area, and just go left, hit the arrow, and that'll start you out on one of the 3 ways.
That should lead you pretty far into the cave before you have to do anything. Although, don't hit the arrow in the pointing up in the verticle tunnel when you get to it. You'll have to do that later.
I might release the start to the other two ways soon.
Jell - The only reason I have that space is because of how high the cave went, and because of that one area on the left. I tried my best to cram everything together.

8.4/10 Great Booyah, I beat it. I found quite an easy way, but it was pretty hard finding the actual path. I messed a bit with the boulders in the beginning, too. | | | kk664645 |

Perhaps you could tell me what this easy way is?

Eh, I pushed the right boulder to the right, one tile away from the wall. Then I smashed the platform with the other boulder. Then I followed what I think was your intended first way, but I didn't hit this arrow:
Code: "xx | xx
"xx=|xxxxxx|xx xx
"xx |xxxxxx|xx xx
"xx >wwwwwwwww<xx
.m mmkkk|mmmkxx
"xxmmoxxxkk|kx xx
"xxwwkkkkk|kkkmxx
and after that, it was just a total of four arrows to duckjump over to get back to the starting area, where a falling boulder fell over the door. Destroy the left boulder you pushed in the beginning, and then, just hit the arrow and go to the door. | | | Quirvy |

No clue what you did or even which way you went. If a boulder falls over the door, you have no way to move it out of your way, because spikes are surrounding it.
But if that sounds like anyone way's, you're doing it wrong.
Did you at least find the intended path?

...you know, I beat the cave. So most probably I didn't do it wrong. | | | Quirvy |

Yeah, but since it's not the intended path, I consider it wrong.
I'd really have to see how you did it to figure out whether or not it's close enough.
Wait. I think I know what you're doing.
That's pretty clever, but how would you manage to destroy the boulder? both of them. You'd have to hit the arrow facing down, and that spike that I put below it is supposed to prevent that.

Well, that spike doesn't prevent that. But now when you know that, I think you know how I did.
Just took time, and this cave took exactly two minutes to complete for me. | | | Quirvy |

You know, that's creative enough, that I'll call it a way to beat the cave.
You should try the second path on the video, Isa. It's not too hard. But I'll say that you're gonna need to hit the arrow that you didn't hit in your own path before you start climbing the platform.
The second path is definately the most fun, IMO.

Hm. I got pretty far on my first try, but then I hit an arrow after a fall and then I had to redo everything. Looks nice though.
I'm a bit annoyed by the fact that you almost only included duckjumping traps though... | | | Quirvy |

duckjump traps are generally easy, though, but require slightly more skil than normal arrow avoiding traps.
And you also gotta like the second trap down from the top. That one was pretty cool. Or was it the third one.
Either way, duckjumping past the arrows isn't hard. The only hard one would be one the first shown path, I believe, where the bottom arrow arrives before the top. Other than that, though, the traps are pretty fun IMO.

But they're quite repetitive, which in the end makes them boring.
I dunno which one you're talking about, but if it was the one without duckjumping, then I agree.
You want me to do a walkthrough of the way I found? | | | Quirvy |
Karma: 538 Posts: 7051 Gender: Male pm | email

Not right now. Maybe later. I at least know what you're doing.
Besides, the walkthrough will honestly only be good if it includes every path. So I might even actually need to do it. Or alternatively, we could do what me and dando did with MIV.
But right now, lets just let everyone get a chance at finding the other paths.

9.5/10 Amazing! this cave is amazing. the only problem it had was that the multiple paths confused me when it came to solving the puzzles. | | |
