There were a few things that annoyed me about this level, but some other things were great.

The first trap was too well timed and I kept falling into a pit of spikes. After sorting that trap out I found the aims of some of the next traps a bit ambiguous. The use of the skull was good though.

The next section was terrible... Tutorial arrows thrown around the place and a trap that was obviously stolen from goldfun, but with a completely ridiculous twist. I had to make a checkpoint before this section to even have a clue what to do. Then the second speed trap in the section was too compact and fast and also a terrible use of fake crates.

The speed traps were cool after that, but the arrow just before backtracking was hard to reach.

I liked the next bit even though it was a bit confusing and the dynamite bit was awesome, full of adrenaline.

I couldn't work out the final trap, but overall it was a pretty good level. Great work .

reviewing your own cave?

I got around a fifth way through this level. The traps were good and it was fun.

A... collab? Darn, that makes it six collabs for the NJ's. (Not New Jersey)

is that supposed to be an abbreviation for the Ninja Koopas? Try NK or TMNK, otherwise I'm just gonna have to assume that you really did mean New Jersey.

Yeah, well, we can't say 'NK' all the time. Nor TMNK. I just like saying NinJa

so if the "Ninjas" were an abbreviated form of our name, that means you're abbreviating an abbreviation.

I'm stuck around here:
http://www.interguild.org/hatpc/cavelist.php?user=caver_2
I know how to do that trap and I got the boulder to where it needs to go. But I just can't seem to do the following trap correctly. The one with the treasure.

Same here. That trap is ridiculously hard and I had to analyze it for way longer than usual (we're talking minutes here). The whole theme of the level seems to be something like...long, hard to get a good overview traps. I'm not a huge fan of that kind of traps, even though I think it is the only way that HatPC traps will evolve - all the simple traps have already been made, and only complicated, space-consuming ones are left.

Ok, the last part of my section was the skull, so it sounds like you beat it. But, yeah, I can't even beat Harumbai's section, and it's partly my level. But I'm cutting some slack on him, I'm pretty sure he said he had a cast on one of his arms while making this, so I imagine he was a little rushed.

Walkthrough time:

!. Run towards right facing arrow hitting down arrow on the way, jump on arrow and run back to crawl through newly made hole.

@. Push boulder left and crawl through hole.

#. Push boulder left and then when it lands right.

$. Go quickly left and crawl and jump before metal crates are destroyed.

%. Run left hitting up arrow and jump to get boulder down before it is destroyed.

^. Collect treasure and then jump right hitting arrow to destroy dynamite.

&. Run right and then jump up and push boulder right and then left to put dynamite through the ground.

Second trap!

*. Go to lowest platform and run right jump and crawl right.

(. When you get to the left tute arrow go as it says to collect treasure, then jump right.

Third trap!

). Hit arrow, jump over dynamite at appropriate time and cross platform to the left before it is murdered.

I've already made it to step & (your use of symbols was creative, lol), but the trap is so tightly timed that I can't push the boulder underneath the dynamite in time.

Weird. I sometimes get killed by the boulder stupidly, but that bit's usually easy, I'll make it slower tomorrow.

so uh, it's been long since i wasted so much time playing a cave. I got to the door, but i lost one treasure in the way - the 4th, counting from the end. i missed it in the first time i got there, and in that same play i got to the door so i didn't play again. this cave was very cool, i enjoyed it very much. it has unique speed traps mostly, and quite a nice design, but..well, there was something missing to boost it to higher levels. perhaps i'm just more of a puzzle person and stuff, but still. this cave was a standard interguild cave, we can call it - good speed traps, nice design and stuff.... but you see, since this has nothing unique in it, it doesn't reach dando's awsomeness.

overall - great cave

well, what i meant was that compared to speed traps, this was unique, but not in a unique way, you see?

almost every speed trap you make is different than anything that has been before; you set off a chain and bla bla bla and then you have to crawl before you can't/hit something/etc. here you pushed the boulder, or entered a crawlspace, etc..so it iis unique, but it's not unique in a special way; for example, the starting trap in imperio is unique in a special way - you have to crawl and hit the dynamite while you're invincible in a specific place so that the boom causes stuff. when jebby saw that he called it a new era of cavemaking...but, even this was not so new! csd has used it earlier somewhere, where you have to be hit by an arrow in a specific place so that it destroys a spike while you're invincible(RoDB, perhaps? not sure). so yes, it's very hard to make original, unique things. just putting speed traps like almost the whole of this cave is not so hard. well, of course it is and that's why you get an 8.4 for it, you did it well. but as you understand - i'm always looking for something more. there are very few caves i rated VERY high, and it's usually because they're really super-awsome(somebody said for seasons?)...

well i didn't mean to >_< but just like isa said in his 5x150 topic - almost everything in this game has been already used. it's very hard to come up with original ideas these days, hence my lack of new caves in the last...year or so. you can only come up with a new design or stuff.

you should try my Hydrodynamics >_>
