Description:
is the only valid explanation I have for following through with the creation of this level. IT WAS ORIGINALLY SO MUCH FREAKING HARDER. I tried making something generic, but I sucked. I tried making something elaborate, but it sucked. So I went with the only approach where it's near-impossible to suck: minimalist!

The original version of this level was so ridiculously headdesk worthy that my original titles were Hardboiled, Hardball, and Ball So Hard (lol). That was until last night I realized that I spent 2 hours trying to beat that hard version without much luck (only to find out this morning that a point I never reached was impossible), then this title seemed much more fitting. I changed the difficulty up a lot this morning. The only part that may be difficult is there might be a couple parts where you can't see what you have to do next, but most of the level is designed so you can see it all at once. The combination of my level-testing rage and AA design flaws (can't save code without beating it, can't turn off ball-hitting-surface sound effect (which haunted me in my sleep), and the eraser is too big) was deadly. And THAT is why I started killing for sport.

I find this level to be too hard, but I may just be bad at this game. At the very least it's annoying. I hate how there are "checkpoints" in Amberial Axis, but they're not actually checkpoints. I find that top checkpoint in the starting area to be very annoying. It's certainly obtainable, but most of the time, I skip it in favor of just seeing the rest of the level instead of spending 3 minutes trying to get it. I can't comment much on this level other than I didn't find it to be very fun. The furthest I got was the 4th checkpoint, After I got it, I tried to get onto the upper area, and in the process fell upwards to my death. I feel like I probably could make it back there again and see if I can figure it out, but I don't feel very compelled to do so, especially since I accidentally closed the tab that AA was open in.

Lol, I was extremely disappointed when I found out what checkpoints did also. Yeah, the level is mediocre, life goes on.
EDIT: Also, I find it easier to get the high up checkpoint by pushing the loose circle to the left side of the room./advice

lol, I wish I could karma rate the posts above me here.

I got 7/8 checkpoints and to the exit. it took me around 6000 in the timer there. the last checkpoint - the blue bar from the buttom fell upwards and got stuck in the corner, and I couldn't take it. GODDAMN

so this was sort of nice, challanging and yet, fun to play. except of course the starting area - as Q said. I'ma go to sleep now.
