Author: Isa Game: Hannah and the Pirate Caves Date: Friday, April 24, 2009 - 11:09 am Part of the Series: IMO Noteworthy caves I've made
Description: This one features a water crate.
I feel like this can be one of my final levels, seeing as I lack inspiration to do anything new. We'll see, though.

I've gotten up to the third trap so far. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far, so I'm gonna continue to play it.
Edited in: I beat the third trap, but I dunno what the hell I'm supposed to be doing after that. It looks like you push the second boulder, but not into the spike, so that you can reach the platform. If that's the case, shame on you, Isa. That is not a very user-friendly jump. So far I'm 0 for 3 on that.
Edited in: I've managed to make the jump 3 times. I still don't like it. I mean, the third trap is pretty hard, but it's still okay. But the jump, I just don't like. My instant reaction has me jumping as soon as I get on the boulder, and thus I almost always miss the platform.
Edited in: The fourth trap is a little bit too hard IMO

Lol. I have an altered version of the cave on my secret side, so that I don't have to go through the start of the cave. I just don't think I'd get very far. What do you do after the 5th trap?

Just jump to the left and land on the boulder, hit the arrow and go back, then go right. | | | Quirvy |

8.5/10 Great The water part of this cave was frustrating enough to make me kinda stop playing there, cuz looking at the map code, it didn't look like it was gonna get any easier.
I liked the upper section very much, though, with the exception of that one bit where you have to hit two arrows, hit a crate, and then push a boulder. Man that was a pain.
I think that the water section was probably a little bit too hard, I didn't get to play all of it. But I mean, if you compare the first trap in the land path to the first trap in the water path...

I get stuck in the second room down on the right and the bottom room on the left, but this is pretty cool.

Wait, what? When you say right, do you mean the water section? And which room do you mean when you say the bottom room on the right? The one featuring water, or the one with mostly arrows, dynamites and platforms to walk on? | | | Harumbai |

hmm thats funny I thought I was quite clear. On land I get to the room with an arrow right then a wooden dynamite crate and then a bunch of arrows flying at you. In water: after skipping the first trap which I can't do I get to the bit with 3 monsters.

Aha. Well, to beat the first trap I mentioned, you should hit the arrow crate, bounce and hit the roof, and for a tiny moment you should hit the wall. When you do so, just fall straight down until you hit the dynamite. The dynamite should fly straight upwards, and when it does so, go right. When the dynamite destroys some spikes, then place yourself there.
The part with the three monsters is a bit tricky. Don't go to the air pocket, you'll waste precious time. Instead swim as fast as possible to the boulder, push it one step to the right so that the blue flying thingy gets blocked. Take some air, and then go to the path which isn't blocked and quickly swim upwards, avoiding the pawkeets. | | | Harumbai |

I thought that for the second one, I just keep dying on random spikes and the like.

Edited the first water chest away and replaced it with a heart crate, gem now isn't possible to get without the usage of water crates. | | | Harumbai |

Yeah it was, but still, it was too easy if you just knew how to do, and I want the gem to be hard to get, or at least remember. | | | Onarole |

I'm still playing this one, and I'm still on the top portion of the cave! I'll finish it eventually, but I really like it so far. Although, if Quirvy is to be believed... | | | Isa |

7.8/10 Good Me neither. I had a lot of fun with the first one, but this one I discarded pretty quickly. I got a few traps in both directions, but it just didn't hook me like the other one did. And I'm still mad you didn't let me make the walkthrough. I blazed through that cave so fast... | | | Isa |

Gems suck! WOOOOO EXTRA POINTS! Shove your extra points down your severed neck. And how was I supposed to know it was gonna be the wrong version when I recorded it?! The only future I can see is your head getting severed, and it's AWESOME!!!
I gotta stop this head-severing thing. It's starting to get creepy. | | | Quirvy |

Yeah. I agree. Don't worry, CSD. I'm not going to ever be that picky about my walkthroughs. Which is why you should totally make a WT to 4am.
