Description:
Wahaha.  My entry to the WT comp.  Yea, i did conquer my reading disabilities and managed to finish reading that WT.  Hooray.  I really finished this yesterday or so, but being the FAIL reader as I am  I asked a few people if it broke any rules, but since they didn't respond yet I didnt feel like submitting it until i was sure that i would be safe.  Then I remembered the handy-dandy edit cave button, so here ya go.  Currently up on lol_cave5.

I tried REALLY HARD to make this somewhat easier, unlike, um...

So Yea.  You also have the WT, which makes it even easier.

Isn't the name so awesome? :]

Imo, the gem is really cool, tho somewhat harder, but I'm also worried that the judges wont think that it sticks to the rules as tightly as, say ken or sup's entry.

Anyhoo, enjoy, rate, and comment! or else.

Amazing!
Okay this level is awesome. This is the first level in about 2 weeks that I have wanted to post on so that tells you just how good this level is (and to a lesser extent that there haven't been many other good levels released recently).

The first trap was pretty epic, but at first I didn't realise you needed to get down the next metal crate and I died a few times running into a spike. After that I had some problems of hitting the wooden crate below the metal one but then still managing to push the boulder under the metal crate, but once I sorted that it was fine.

The arrow combowas very good. It was easy enough to do every time (especially since I had the walkthrough ), but yet it still felt challenging and the timing was good. Not shos good, but that's good because shos good is bad...

The dynamite trap set was awesome. I died the first time because I forgot to jump for the ladder, but I did it every time after that and the timing was perfect (it felt fast, but wasn't too hard). There really is nothing to improve on that dynamite bit.

The puzzle next was fine except I couldn't work out how to use the boulder directly above the platform. I got the feeling you had to double roll a boulder underneath it but I couldn't set it up right. Fortunately for me the trap didn't require use of all the boulders (you could jump onto the boulder under the rightmost double spike to complete the puzzle).

The free fall section was pretty cool to watch and other than forgetting to go right when the boulder went through the spike I would have beaten the level. Very enjoyable and I would have played it again if I wasn't so worried the computer would shut down. I was thinking about entering this comp, but after seeing this entry there is no point, there is no way I could hope to make anything nearly this good.

Yeah, wow. This was intense.

Due to my lack of patience, time and playing abilities, I didn't get very far, but from what I've seen it looks very good. I like your style.

I beat this cave with checkpoints and it was really cool. What makes it even more interesting is how creative you where able to get even though you were following the walkthrough.

Judging it like an actual cave, though, it was mostly very interesting. The traps were well timed, but given the length of the cave, it seems only practical to play with checkpoints (or maybe that's just me). I also thought the gem was a cool idea (opening the gem, not the actual gem room itself).
