Description:
An entry for the water comp. Featuring almost all water glitches, and Spray

Up on iscmf1.

EDIT : This cave is the least dense cave i have ever made LOL. I have already removed all those annoying spikes that are annoying, to me. I'm pretty bad at navigating through spikes underwater LOL.

UPDATE: Fixed a broken trap that is at about halfway through the cave.

@Quirvy, point taken.

The first part is easy. Just hold left and jump over the terrain and you'll make it.

it took quite a while for me to figure that out.

the wooden-crate trap right after that is also quite challenging.

I got close to the end of bouncing past all the boxes by pure luck -- this is just too hard for me, like all your levels.

Tue. 2:55am - Ckjr You beat that first few seconds of the second trap by just holding right. Its kinda like a piece of Right on, but with a smaller success rate.
oh that's not so bad. But you need to make levels that aren't so hard to figure out...

Well,  i thought that by putting multiple tutorial arrows would make it easier to figure out.

This cave seems pretty straightforward to me lol, and at least 20% of the cave is just showing the different tricks you can do with taps and air pockets and such. As from the description, this cave is the least dense cave i have ever made. I could make a walkthrough for this, after i at least get a rating from ya.

Good

I got decently far while judging, which is basically my way of saying, I didn't get stuck on the first two traps.

I was really annoyed with the opening trap, though, because you have to hold left from the very start of the level, which is just unnecessary and annoying in my opinion, and if you play a cave a lot, you'll forget things like that, and in your rush to carry on to your next attempt, and be further frustrated when you die on the opening trap. There's really no reason for that one spike that you have to jump through right before your invincibility ends. I have always been against invincibility traps like that.

Other than that, it seemed like every other really awesome looking and well designed level that I cannot get very far into.

I wondered if I should rate this level for what it is, which is a hard, big cave whose traps are supposed to thrill you when you watch them getting beaten, but not really meant to be fun for those trying to figure out how to beat them.

I got around to around the 4th or 5th "room" depending on what you call a room.

I liked this cave better than I thought I would. It's not fun at all unless you know how to get past some parts, but it's still enjoyable to make some distance in this cave. The design was interesting and I really like the use of water crates. You really get a sense of the progress you're making whenever you hit another water crate, and that is especially good for a hard cave like this.

after the 9th water crate, how do I proceed? I can't seem to be able to jump to the left, and when i bounce to the right I bounce too high. duck-hitting the box won't get me as far to the right as i need, even with drag...

You mean the part with the stack of metal crates? Well just use the three arrows to destroy three metal crates and then it will be possible to bounce over to the right. From your post, it seems like you only destroyed 2. Am I right? And yea, the left part you do it later, while underwater.

Great
2.4/5 — Normal
well, after some few minutes of playing (a total of less than 30 minutes, i assume) i think  i beat some 80-90% of the cave. it really is easy and straightforward, but since it's long, and i'm stupid, i haven't beaten it yet. since i AM out of time for the next 3-4 days, i'm gonna look at the code and rate.

okay, well, nothing too special in this cave. the concept is already familiar, but the use of it was very good. I enjoyed playing and stuff, almost beat the cave with heart and gem.. actually, i have nothing much to say, the traps are quite ordinary; but ordinary traps that are put this way..i'm wondering how to rank it. oh well, an 8 would do.

edit: looking at the difficulty rates of others, you guys either seriously suck, or are just overestimating.
