Description:
So this is a project I've been working on a lot on the Survival Server. When I went around mapping the server, I found a ton of Villages out in the Eastern portion of the map. So I started settling them. In total there are like 6-12 villages in the east that could potentially be included in this project. Currently this project only contains 4 Villages. Bmwsu made a couple of buildings in Chasm and Fallon. I think a few others helped with settling the villages, but it was a long time ago, so I don't remember offhand.

The overview details:
Arco, Chasm, Fallon and Temple are those 4 villages, which will be shown below.

Savannah and Elkton are also settled villages in the east, but are not yet connected in any way to the other 4 villages (but perhaps will be in the future). There are additional unsettled villages which may also become a part of this.

The simplified plan right now is to build a trail from Fallon to Savannah, and then Savannah to spawn, making the region more easily horse-accessible. Currently Arco, Chasm, and Temple are all connected to eachother, and Fallon is connected to Temple and Chasm.

Village descriptions and pictures:

Fallon is distinguished as being the Eastern Frontier's largest Village. Fallon also has the most naturally occuring farms, and has had sheep, pig, chicken and cow farms added to it, making it essentially the Eastern Frontier's more functional version of "the Market", but to a smaller, less ridiculous scale. Notable features: a tower looking over the town, linked houses, and ditches serving as pens for farm animals.

Arco is perhaps the capitol of the Eastern Frontier; it was the first established village. It was also the first established desert village in general. It's probably has the largest area of the 4 villages. It has a nether portal/rail leading back to spawn. Its most distinguishing features are its lake and mountain inside of the village. I have had preposterously good luck fishing at that lake.

Chasm's distinguishing feature is the ravine in the middle of the village.

Temple's distinguishing feature is the desert temple adjacent to the village.

PETA would not be happy to see how you treat your pigs and cows in Fallon and Arco

Did the temple spawn naturally next to the village?

This is really cool. I like the individual creativity that goes into each village, and how you made all of the custom buildings stick to the general look of the original buildings.

Thomas' animal farm on the old server had more severe animal rights violations, so I don't have trouble sleeping in game.

Yeah, the temple/village combo was spawned like that

This is actually why I haven't expanded Temple at all, and why Arco's expansion has been so limited; building sand(stone) buildings is very costly in terms of how much sand it requires, and I don't want to wreak havoc on either village's desert.

I should come on Survival sometime and check these out in person, new stuff is cool. I don't play Survival much, but it's nice to see more levels being posted.

IMO Chasm has a couple of parts that are a little empty and could do with some more flowers/trees, or maybe a pond. I do really like the tower in Fallon, it looks great and goes well with the other buildings, plus it distinguishes Fallon from other villages. And is there any way to get into the ravine in Chasm from the village? It might be cool to have stuff down there. (Maybe a storage room or enchanting station? Or you could just build those above ground)

Perhaps making some paths in Arco and Temple could make them more interesting? I get that desert villages are supposed to be deserty but IMO they don't have enough color to them. You probably think differently though so whatever works for you. And maybe it would be cool to have a beacon in Temple (inside the actual temple), if you have the resources. I don't think people would spend a ton of time near it, but if they're lost or something they could more easily find it from a distance.

Lastly, are you planning to build roads to any/all of these villages? I don't know how far away from Spawn they are, but if they're not too far away I think roads to them would be cool.

Arco and temple do actually have paths, they're just not very visible since the games makes them out of sandstone. I wanted to maintain the spawned look/style of the villages, so I didn't change that.

There are marked trails that lead one from village to village. You can see what they roughly look like in the background of Temple and Chasm's night pictures, but it's better to see them up close and actually use the trail system before judging them. Soccer has suggested that I build actual paths between the cities, but my stance is that it's a lot of work and resources that doesn't add any functionality. I also don't like the idea because If feel like it would reduce the feel of the villages being isolated out in the wilderness

Plan is to build a trail from Fallon to Savannah (another already settled village), Savannah to an unsettled village, and then that village to spawn, so that the Eastern Frontier is more easily horse-accessible. There's also a nether rail to Arco, and Savannah. If you want to visit it, it's suggested that you take the nether rail to Arco.

I think I mentioned it in the Chatbox once.  Honestly, I was kind of planning on doing something else for my 100th level (no idea what I was planning, though), but while it demotivates me to make something cool for the 100th level, I still might do something.

Oh, was there some big "Bmwsu's 100th level" build up that I wasn't aware of when I submitted this? We can always remove you from the level creators, so you'll be back at 99 levels. I did the vast majority of the work on these villages, so it's not like it would be a terrible omission to leave you out.
