Description:
"Was... a fan. Cave is... fun", Isa

My first HATPC level in over two and a half years. It's a fairly straightforward speed cave, and despite it's title, I don't think it's too difficult. Not gonna lie, I'm super out of practice at cavemaking, so if this doesn't meet the standards of what you expect from a Yaya level, then... there are better things to come? Consider this level me shaking off the rust. I would not recommend attempting to get the gem until you've beat the level, or at least seen most of the level's 2nd half.

Thanks to myself for uploading the level mere minutes before someone decided to test it. Patience is a virtue! Which I do not possess

Up on tohunga1. I am still open to altering the timing of traps, so if something's bothering you, let me know. Enjoy?

EDIT: I anticipate there may be some confusion about a certain area the cave, the room with two paths of tutorial arrows, I might divulge more later, but for now I'll say

I can already tell this level is gonna be a hit!

I'm not good at playing the game but I do like the effects of the arrow in the first trap, the remnants of the crates look like fireworks and they add pressure to all that jumping.

It's good to be back.

I was trying to test it but it was long and getting tedious so I took a break

The top area really fun despite the fact that it's timed very badly. The upper middle right area area was pretty fun, but the crawl afterwards is really boring and unnecessary. The first dynamite bucket thingy doesn't really add much to the level, but the second one is pretty fun because it's interesting to find out how to finish it the fastest. The bigger dynamite bucket thingy is mildly annoying because swimming through crates but still enjoyable. The tutorial arrow section is fine, but trying to put a puzzle in the middle of a speed cave/trap is a bit annoying, especially considering there wasn't too much of a clue as to what to do (until you gave the REALLY SUBTLE hint). The bottom area is a bit generic up until the ending part where you jump over arrows. Which, might I add was a terrible way to end the level. I wasn't too happy going through a decent sized speed cave just to die to some tricky arrow jumps, so I put a checkpoint right in front of it. They're pretty easy, but IMO you don't have enough time to react the first time around so you'd have to go through the whole thing again.

It was very fun aside from cluelessly flailing around in the puzzle.

The level is pretty good. The traps are original, though the timing on the first section is way too slow. I liked the concept of the earlier part as well, where it wasn't clear what path was the fastest, and how trial and error was actually a central piece of that part. The center puzzle of the level wasn't really all that complicated, but that the same time almost impossible to figure out without looking at the code. My first few runs I didn't even realize it was a puzzle at all, I assumed it was a non-linear section with multiple paths you could take.

There were some noticeable flaws in this level, but the originality and timing of the traps (except the first section) made the cave good.

Not exactly sure what you're talking about/what part you're referring to. Explain?
