It took me a while, but I was able to beat it (without the gem). The difficulty seems fine, except for the beginning section where it's practically impossible to lose unless you miss multiple easy jumps. I couldn't find any ways to cheat the level, but there was that monster that doesn't seem to do anything. Also, during the trap after the ladder with the dynamite chain, I feel like you are supposed to time the jump off of that two-block dynamite and platform, but the right half of the section to the right is still there, so you don't really have to do that (sorry if that was terribly explained).

The traps minus that first section all seem well timed and the difficulty seems fair. I wasn't able to figure out what to do in that center section without looking at the code, though.

EDIT: nvm you posted it

I dunno about the first section. Generally whenever I find the timing at which I can beat a trap, I add 1 or 2 arrows to compensate for someone who doesn't have the foresight of making the cave. When I first started making the level, I imagined it starting out simple and gradually adding more elements (you can see I abandoned that by about the top right). Yeah, I don't have that good of an excuse there.

As for the thing about timing the jump off the dynamite chain, that was originally my intention, but when I noticed the other end didn't blow up, I realized it didn't really make a difference. You still have to quickly drop down after the boulder falls in order to beat the next trap, so whichever platform you use is essentially irrelevant

The monster in the middle is just my questionable attempt at trolling.

You can get past that area regardless of which route you take, but you will not be able to access a certain treasure unless you go the correct way.
