Want to post your Guitar Hero achievements? Looking for a friend to trade you that Pokémon? Itching for a match with Brawl? Or are you simply as excited for that new TMNT game as I am? You have clicked on the correct topic. Socialise, stragetise and obliterise here.

Because I'm currently in the highest grade of my school, we get a room in the basement where only me and my year-mates are allowed. For the first half of this year, we had a Playstation 1 and a Gamecube there. Playing games like Tekken 3, Smash Brothers Melee, Soul Calibur II and F-Zero GX with other people really rekindled my competative spirit and made me realise just how great multiplayer games are. Because of that I became more interested in fighters, RTS games and other strategic games, like Pokémon.
Currently I'm mostly into Melee, Pokémon Diamond and Perfect Dark, but I there are still play about 10 different games.

What do you play, what are you looking forward to, what do you want advice on, what do you want to brag about?

I play DotA mostly - A Warcraft III mod. While Warcraft III is simply a RTS (Real Time Strategy) game, the mods made to it involve RPGs, Paintball-stylish games, different variations of Tag and so on.

I'm currently looking forward to LoL, also known as League of Legends. It's currently being developed by former DotA mapmaker Guinsoo, and some other people I don't know much about.

Anyone, except for Jell, who heard of these ones?

i'm not into games where you need to pay constantly to keep playing them. You have to pay monthly or something to play WoW, right? well, I don't know much about computer games, but I probably should...

as many know, I own a Wii and i love the games that Nintendo makes.

speaking of 360, Microsoft's been acting really strange with it lately.... avatars that copy Nintendo, giving away Kung Fu Panda with every box... kinda scaring me away..

GUITAR HERO UPDATE:
4* - Through The Fire And Flames (427039)

That was the last remaining 3* in this game. Two 4*s left -- Through The Fire And Flames (obviously...) and The Way It Ends.

Hmmn, I got a score on Rock You Like a Hurricane, 4*, like 150,000-180,000 points on notes hit or something, fun song.

Impulse is also extremely fun. I always get 3 stars though. I'm still working my way to complete TTFAF on hard. I can get to 81% then die Anyways that's another thing on my to-do-list. I haven't played GH3 in a LONG time... I'm rusty.

I have Fable II for xbox but I don't have an xbox

Yeah, so it technically doesn't count toward the number of FC's I've had in that game. Notice that I, like, started at 1 instead of 35, continuing from guitar hero 3 or something. It's more like DLCFC #1, or something.

I beat Metroid Prime 2 last week. I missed a few scans (I don't look at guides on my first playthrough), so I didn't get 100%. I'll probably do that when I do my Hard Mode run.
But first, I'm going to unlock everything at Soul Calibur II (which I bought together with Metroid Prime 2, Mario Party 5, Splinter Cell and Super Monkey Ball, among some other things) and probably some more other games too.
I'm playing Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker on my handheld now, but nothing on the computer. I'll probably install Starcraft soon and play that, or perhaps Championship Manager.

GUITAR HERO 3 UPDATE:
FC #35 - Minus Celsius (255913)

That's half! 35/70! I got this FC really quickly, too. Like, third serious FC attempt ever. I played it today, was randomly making a lot of the tricky chord changes, decided to try to FC, and 3 tried later (with both of those first two tries having missing on the intro), I FC'd it. Took like, 5 minutes.

Why haven't I found gog.com before? Old games, legally available and already patched to make them compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7? Amazing.

That sounds relevant to my interests.

One of the best games ever released. Oh, how much time I've killed with my friend playing this. Morpheus is the best stage (CTF-Face is also awesome).

And I just completed No More Heroes. Average gameplay, somewhat short (about 9 hours), but it has some masterfully done humor. The entire game is basically based around an ironic Rule of Cool otaku and arcade game culture. The writing is brilliant up till the last fight, where they simply went too far. Overall, I'd rate it a 7.5/10.
Just one thing. It is rated M, and it deserves that rating. So don't go playing it if you are too young.

Now on to Might & Magic 1 through 6.

I am posting this here and not on the Minecraft board because I am hoping to get as unbiased opinions as possible. My question is this:
Is Minecraft worth 15 euro?
To compare, for half that prize I can get games such as Baldur's Gate 2, Psychonauts or Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete and for a third of that prize I can get games such as Fallout 2, Rayman 2 or Duke Nukem 3D. Even when compared to more modern games, I can get previous generation games and some current generation games, such as Metroid Prime or Final Fantasy X for less.

So when you compare Minecraft to those other games, is Minecraft actually worth its current prize?

I assume it depends on how much you'll play it.
But, I think it'd be interesting to actually play a game together with the people we've been talking to here for so long.

So uh, next time I see Livio online, we're brawling. I hope he doesn't mind if I spam TL bombs.
