This isn't too unlikely. North Korea has once before made it to the World Cup. They played brilliantly and managed to make it into the quarter finals. Amazing performance for such a country, wouldn't you say? Their dictator didn't agree. They got tortured when they got back in North Korea for losing.

that was a brutal game

I am very ticked off at the ref. He completely ruined the match. 9 yellow cards, 7 of which were undeserved, including two for Heitinga, most of which yellow cards weren't even fouls. Two of Spain's players should have been send off with red cards, no discussion possible, yet he didn't even give them a talking to. Then there was a moment in the final five minutes, were it was very, very, very obvious Holland should get a corner kick, yet instead he gave a goal kick to Spain which lead to the goal.
We lost, but not to Spain.

to me it sounds like, oi oi oi, bla bla bla, niff niff niff...I'm sorry jell, but you have to know how to lose. things you see on TV is  not what you see there, and it's not easy to judge when you're at the place, you know. people make mistakes, but overall, you have to admit that both teams weren't so good, you can't just blame the man. it's a fact that despite all that, they did score =\

at first i wanted germany to beat spain so that the germans can get their asses kicked by holland, but then germany lost, so i didn't really care who wins. kudos for spain for their double!

I don't care we lost. I am just ticked off we lost because of a terrible, biased ref.
And the only reason Spain scored is because the ref send off the Dutch central defender unjustily and he refused to give the Dutch a corner and a free kick in the minute before the goal.

And the ref made many mistakes, but it was a but iffy that nearly all of them were in Spain's advantage.

At least Spain didn't have Karate Kidd on their team, who didn't get sent off despite a very dangerous foot to the chest, without any intention of hitting the ball.
