Nice. Once again, your level has managed tocompletely bamboozle me. It's not that I was completely lost whilst playing, it's just I'm in awe at thought put into making a cave like this work, said feeling may have been greater with The Grand Scheme Of Things or Cause And Effect, but that's because I think I was completely lost in those. I didn't too far in this level, I don't exactly know where, but I think it was a little ways down the first path that was shown. I know they eventually cover the same territory, but is one of the non-gem paths particularly easier than the other? The whole "backwards compatibility" thing dawned on me later in the video, at first when it cut back to the beginning and started over, I thought, "oh, you have to go the other way for the gem path", but when you got to the door, I realized you didn't have the gem and there was still three minutes left in the video. The gem was cool; I think I would've appreciated it more if I had reached that part in the cave and understood what you were doing differently to obtain it, but it was still interesting. Nice music. I considered using the second song in my walkthrough of Quirvy's Platformer, but I figured the level wasn't classy enough, lol. Great video and level.
COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.

Taking the left path at the start lets you get the gem, and the right path lets you get the heart crate; you get both by backtracking through the path you didn’t take. I played the left path up to where they intersect, then restarted to show the right path and the rest of the cave. (It seemed simpler to separate the gem.) I wanted the backwards compatibility thing to go through more of the cave, but I got lazy, lol. It was fun to make though, and it gave me a cool idea for another level. I do feel like it’d be more fun to figure this one out than to watch it, but it is pretty hard so I dunno. I tried to keep the paths around the same difficulty.
For the gem, the trickiest part seemed to be getting back to it after you shoot it down. I was hoping players would focus on the left path for that, since it’s hard to tell there’s enough debris to get across the right path again unless you go up there (and didn’t use that wooden crate the first time across). Teo got it though, and I think soccerboy came pretty close.
Anyway, thanks for watching! | | Darvince |
