Level Introduction

Interguild
The first official level of Hannah and the Pirate Caves. Are you ready?
Click here for the level code of this level.

Welcome to the first official level of the game! For those of you just joining us, after having decided to skip the tutorial levels, go back and do the tutorial levels. For those of you hoping for a huge quality jump now that the tutorials are over, you're not going to get it just yet. This is an extremely easy and simple level.

Woah? What? The gem already? From the start of the level, straight away, jump left, over the spikes, and into the secret area on the other side.

Interguild
Where could this possibly lead to?

Follow this secret area down and around the bottom of the cave to find the gem, waiting for you at the base of a ladder. Collect the gem, climb the ladder, and crawl to the left and back into the main body of the level.

To the right of the start is a platform with two treasures on it. Beneath that, and a little to the right, is another treasure. A little father to the right, is another four treasures. Obviously, you'll need to go around and collect them all. Complicating matters is that this level contains running water, so you'll have to be moderately quick as you go around collecting them.

Another complication is the game's first enemy. WARNING: DO NOT PET!!

Interguild
!!!

One touch of any of the game's enemies, and you'll lose a life. This particular enemy, the blue pawkeet, can fly. It moves back and forth (as all of the creatively-designed enemies in this game do), turning when it reaches a solid object (such as a wall or a metal crate). The blue pawkeet is the one of the two slowest moving enemies in the game, the other being the walking skeleton, which you will encounter later in the game.

Because of the fact that you can't jump as high out of water, you may have to wait for the running water to rise before being able to reach the final areas of the level. Whether you have to wait for the water or not, eventually head up and to the right, where the next three treasures are waiting. From there, head back to the left, jump up some more platforms, and then go a little farther to the left, where all but the last of the treasures are waiting. Go back to the right to find the door, which you should enter, right after you pick up the last treasure, which is just a little farther to the right.

Okay, probably very few people are going to read this guide, but you should at least take the time to appreciate the pawkeet + hannah equation...

You didn't mention the fact that you can also get stuck if you duckjump into the platform under the terrain (to the right, the group of three platforms with a treasure it the middle.

Lol, if that actually ever happens to anybody by accident, I'll add it to the walkthrough. Getting stuck because of water, happens all the time, but that... not so much.

I usually get my lefts and rights mixed up. Somebody says go left, I go right. I say go right, and they're like "wut, that's a house".

I make that mistake about 10 times an article, lol. Usually, on rereads, I find them all, but it looks like I missed this one. Good thing you found it. I missed on once before, and I didn't notice it for a few months, and even then I was lucky I did.

Remember, if you hold out the thumb and index finger on your left hand, it looks an L of left. That way you can never get them mixed up again.

but if you do it with your right hand, and tilt it to the right alittle and your head to the left alittle, you can get the L there, too.

And what if you have 2 left hands? Then you're really in trouble.

When that happens, it means you should go to a eye doctor or a psychiatrist.

Or maybe get someone else to check whether they're all right.

If you had two left hands, wouldn't they be checking to make sure that they're all left?

That's what I do, when I think to double-check, but I don't always remember to.

Actually, I would check if they are all OK. If they aren't, then I would send them to either the eye doctor or psychiatrist.

Pretty nice actually. I asked for a lot of Legos because they were discontinuing certain themes, got a few Cd's, Ps3 games, and the cake was tasty.

Lol, Legos were a big part of my childhood, and they keep me busy when I'm not using electronics. I'm past the stage of playing with them on my bedroom carpet, I buy them for the collecting and posing aspect and sometimes they just look cool, but their still awesome.
