Here's a view of the base from the control tower. I had trouble taking this screenshot before too many of the chunks unloaded (and you can see they're pretty messed up on the left because my computer sucks).

Helicopters! They're all my own original designs, except for the one in the third picture. The one in the last picture actually has some functionality to it; all the dispensers can be fired from inside the cockpit.
