I think this is their definition of 'fix':

FIX - verb
1. to leave something alone till people get annoyed
2. to do nothing even if people send feedback messages

Making the walkthrough to Midnight IX was easily the most painful walkthrough I have EVER done.

As many of you know, the water part is very hard. Eventually, I gave up on beating it in 1 try, and decided to do it in 2 parts, labeled MIX2.avi and MIX3.avi

The first part wasn't too hard, but the second part was brutal. I made it look easy in the walkthrough, but it is anything but that, as some of you know(and will find out). After many painful deaths, with both me and hatpc's physics being at fault(how far down do you need to be to not hit that freaking arrow?!?!), I managed to record the second part, thanks to me making a mistake, and hitting the dynamite before I intended to.

The rest of the cave was pretty much a cakewalk. No challenge at all. The part directly after; I almost beat it in 1 try. Eventually, I finished taping, and started putting it together. After getting the first 2 parts to flow perfectly, there was a problem; MIX3.avi was completely missing. I had to redo the hardest part of the cave all over again. It couldn't happen to some random easy part in the middle of the cave, no. It had to be the water section.

After many, many failures, I got about halfway through the second part(then died), and decided to do the second part in 2 parts, using part of my recent failure as footage for the first part. I eventually managed to do it all successfully. So I was all happy, that I no longer had to deal with the water section. Yay!!

Or not... As it turns out, I forgot to remove a spike in the unedited version, which would make the transition noticeable. So, I had to redo the 1st part of the 2nd part. I messed up many times, some times because I impulsively pressed record too early,  before the skull went out of view.

Well, that was done. So I continued to put it together. And uh-oh, guess what? During the transition between the 2nd and 3rd part of the water section, the bubbles changed. And so I had to redo this, as well. It wasn't necessarily the area itself that was hard, although getting killed by the shockwave of the downfacing arrow didn't help, but being able to film it correctly posed a bit of a challenge too.

I had to redo the hardest part of the cave not just one time, but twice. After that, I had the find some music to use.

I asked Isa. He gives me a decent song, that I would consider if no one had any better suggestions.

I then asked egruntz. He suggested through the fire and the flames, but unfortunately that was WMG owned(and Dando had previously used it in another walkthrough)

I asked Dando and she said no. Had I not been having such a problem getting the walkthrough done, I probably would have thought it was kind of funny.

I also asked Shos. He suggested Behind Blue Eyes, but I didn't like the second part of that song, and he already used it in Zero G, so that was out.

So, I went back into my internet history to find the song Isa suggested. Found it, then looked it up. It was WMG owned.

So, at this point, I was desperate just to get the freaking walkthrough done, so I did something a little bit desperate, which some of you will probably notice.

Seriously, I spent 3/4 of the filming time doing the water section, and then redoing it again, twice. I didn't think that the water section would be as hard as it turned out to be. I just sprinkled some spikes here and there, but oh man, they made a huge difference. I'll have to remember to be a little bit more careful in the future about how I make my caves, because that is not an experience I want anyone playing my cave to go through. And to make it worse, it was the second section of the cave, so everyone got to see pretty much 1/6 of the entire cave.

Oh, and to make it better, it is blocked in countries other than: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Guam, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, United States Virgin Islands, so some time soon, I'm going to have to upload a version of it without the music.

as far as I know, you made the walkthrough o this cave in less than a week, so it officially doesn't count  a hard cave imo, although i have never even played it or looked at the code.
