First of all if you are a newbie, this is a guide for you on how to act responsibly and on how you can relate to the Interguild members about what are they talking about and all the strange happenings and stuff. If you are a veteran or already a resident here, you can just enjoy and read the things I would like to share.

1.Know the Basics!
It is very important for a newbie to know the basics. You have to get an idea on what website you entered. All the websites have their own rules and agreements as well as Interguild. Here are the rules of the Interguild that you should follow. It is very important to know these rules because if you don't follow them, you'll be ban. I don't know how long but it depends on the staff to decide for it.

Also one of the basics here in the Interguild is the events. You should also know these one especially if you would like to enter competitions and have one of those trophies in your profile. Competitions have their specific games and deadlines so you should pick the competitions you would like to enter to. Competitions here are rare occasions because we don't want to have the same concepts again and again, right? You should consult a staff to suggest a concept and make a competition for you. There are also events especially for the holidays, birthdays and days that are memorable and special. Examples are the birth of Interguild, April Fools and etc. There are also special trophies which you can gain by doing special stuff.

This is not needed but if you want to know what we are talking about, search about the history of the Interguild. Interguild is running for over 7 years and there are a lot of unique things that happened here and continue to be talked about like Dando, Haily and some issues I can't remember.

Before I forgot, I wanted to add karma to this guide. In every post, level or comment, you can see the word "Karma" to the upper left and the up and down arrows. Up will add a karma to the post and the down will do the opposite. Positive shows that other members like your post and negative for being offensive or bad. You can gain karma if you are being helpful or funny, Jellsprout said.

The Featured Content. If you have a level or topic which you want to be displayed on the featured content, it must be unique or interesting that it catch the staff's attention. If you want to know more, go to the levels or topics displayed and see what's unique. You could also PM the staff and recommend levels which you think deserves a spot for the front page.

2.Be friendly.
As simple as that, be friendly. It is also in the rules but I would like to share you some more. One is that the first time I joined here, I wanted to catch the attention of some of the members. If you really want to earn their trust, work hard for it. Others became famous instantly because of their contributions but others became friends easily because they are known for something like the being most active or they know each other for real.

If you are making a topic, level or blog guides, don't expect feedback that fast. Since we have different timezones and schedules, you really need to wait for a criticism. Don't be sad if they said a negative criticism, continue on what you are doing. They are just saying that for you to improve. More than that, just be yourself.

If you are playing Hannah and the Pirate Caves and make a level for it, the veterans will rarely post something about so you will get your feedback from your resident cavemakers like Teo, Soccerboy, Krotomo and me and other members like Yimmy, Atvelonis and others. you can get the veteran's attention by adding unique traps or glitch which can truly help us out.

3.Explore new stuff.
The purpose of the Interguild is a Multi-Game Level Database so you need to explore the wonders of the website. Not all members play such games but it would be more fun if you play one of the mostly played games like HATPC (Hannah and the Pirate Caves), Minecraft, Free Rider 2, Red Remover, Amberial Axis etc. You could also collaborate with other members which is exciting and you can make friends easily.

You can also join some competitions as I said above and join forum games which is hosted or made by other members. Forum games and unofficial comps might not have a trophy but it will give you fun and bragging rights. You can also make topics that can help other members like the famous Ask Sprout and you can also ask him for advice and weird questions which I know he can answer.
