If you don't have a great idea when you learn that it is your turn, don't just make a round that you don't even think is good. Try to think to come up with a good idea for a round, and then if you can't, then make a round that you don't even think is good.
Also you're encouraged to start the round in this format: "You have one post to [what you have one post to do goes here]"
Additionally don't end the round early. Rounds should be at least close to a day long. If you started the round at night, you can't end it tomorrow morning. If you started it in the morning, you shouldn't end it before you go to bed.
Interrounds:
The people running rounds are ideally supposed to judge approximately 24 hours after they start the round, but from now on if they haven't judged after 30 hours (6 hours late) then anyone is allowed to start a round between rounds, like the guess when Livio will start the next round, guess how many dogs shos has, ect.
You're also allowed to do this if the round has been judged within 30 hours, but the next guy hasn't started their round within 12 hours of the other round being judged.
The catch is of course that the round could end at any time, because these rounds last until the current round is judged and the next round begins.
You may judge rounds however you'd like, but at the end of the round there can only be one winner.
These rounds will be marked as ".5"s in the previous rounds and winners
I'm working on Aeon and there has been some progress, but I need some help with the new XML format. If anyone has experience in Flash Builder it would help a lot to...help.
So what happened this month? Nothing much, new competition in Minecraft, which was added to the level database (finally). On the topic of Minecraft, the server has been crashing a lot lately, on Brohoster's side. Isa also needs donations for this month, so please help him. As for my part, there is a long documentary in which I sound like Darth Vader for you to enjoy all 85 minutes of.
Aside from Minecraft, there was a sudden spark of activity yesterday, leading to revivial of the Odd or Interesting Facts thread. There have also been a suspicious number of lefties floating around too.
Thomas has increased his (proven) neezle-ness by opening a Thomas Ramble thread. I advise you all to NOT check it out. Meanwhile, the Interguild has been getting increasingly drunk, as the 99 bottles of beer on the wall thread is almost down to 0 bottles. How about 5000 bottles next, eh?
Interguild Olympic ideas have started! We are just tossing around ideas now, so participation is the #1 key in this!
And as for summer, a lot more activity has ensued. Let's hope this goes on for the rest of summer.
Fail of the Month:
Thomas
Win of the Month:
Dando's DULA/EULA
Level of the Month:
Roast Beef
Video of the Month:
The Interguild Minecraft Documentary
I'll post my impersonation later. Right now I have to revamp the video archive.... after playing Minecraft and putting the video archive makeover on hold to post a reason why my impersonation has been delayed.
COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.
Give me +karma. Give me +karma.
blah blah blah dont break the rules blah blah blah banned blah blah blah

(this is my impersonation of Livio)
Livio wouldn't tell us that he's impersonating himself, you're a fraud 0/10
Let me begin by saying thanks to all of you who’ve clicked, from banners and neopets, to brave the tl;dr temptation today. We all made this click for a reason. It’s humbling, but in my heart I know you didn’t come here just for caving, you came here because you believe in what this little community can be. In the face of glitches, you believe there can be exploitation. In face of neglect, you believe there can be more to discover. In the face of inactivity, you believe there can be summer. In the face of a Viacom company that’s shut you out, that’s told you to settle, that’s given us crap for too long, you believe we can be one force, reaching for what’s possible, building that more perfect game.
That’s the journey we’re on today. But let me tell you how I came to be here. As most of you know, I am not a native of this “PCCAâ€. I moved to the Interguild a few years ago. I was a young girl then, just in 3rd grade; I knew no one in the interguild, was without good caves or etiquette. But then a new website had offered a new horizon. And I made a new account, sight unseen, motivated then by a single, simple, powerful idea – that I might one day play the perfect game.
My idea took me to pixel art. I joined with other members to deal with learning how to build a new game altogether. I saw that the problems people faced weren’t simply programming in nature – that the decision to overhaul it all was made by lack of experience; that the lack of activity could be traced to the skewed priorities of corrupted trolls a thousand miles away; that when a child turns to spamming, there’s a hole in her heart that no banning could ever stop.
It was in this Interguild that I made the best caves I ever had, and where I learned the true potential of my caving abilities. After a few months of this work, I left for a few years. I came back, and read through the interguild’s evolution, because I wanted to understand how caving could work for those who needed help. I became a new caver, and made new caves, and after a time, I came to understand that our cherished HATPC and cavemaker depended on the active participation of Viacom. It was with these ideas that I realized this could not exist.
It was here, on interguild.org, where I saw competition– ordinary members and staff, trolls and admins, all of them with a story to tell, all of them seeking attention on the site, all of them clamoring to be the best. I made caves – caves I still can’t beat myself.
It was here we learned to disagree without being disagreeable – that it is possible to compromise so as long as you know that teenagers can never compromise; and so long as we’re willing to listen to each other, we can assume the best in people instead of the troll.
That’s why we were able to make the best out of a neglected game. That’s why we were able to form a multigame community for everyone. That’s why we made the karma system more fair and just for every user; that’s why we are still building that perfect game.
It was here in the interguild, where fourms, level databases, competitions and videos come together that I was impressed by the community of gamers – where I came to believe that through this hobby, we can build a more perfect Interguild.
For the past 8 years, we've all had to put up with the blatant incompetence of TNT and Viacom. For the past 8 years, they've lied to us about a HATIC cavemaker, and then mocked us with not one, but TWO terrible excuses for Hannah games. For the past 8 years, they've neglected our beloved HATPC, and all we could do was stand by and struggle to keep this glorious game from collapsing. How could we forget the shame we felt when the Cave of the Week Contest was reduced to nothing but a mockery of what this game could do? How could we forget the thousands of levels lost in the aftermath of the Great Uploader Glitches? WE WILL NEVER FORGET! This November, we have a chance to restore this game to its former glory!
I promise to CHANGE the way we live, and to improve the systems that we have! I promise to increase decrease taxes! Find out how I will, after this short break.

This story touches my heart, and I can really relate to it except for the part where you didn't take over the interguild and also the part where you weren't extremely awesome and amazing.

As president, I will not do anything against the laws of the Overlord.
This is to be expected otherwise. Would you not do so if you were not president? I do not approve of blackmail, jazz. You do not have my vote!
After thinking it through, I've decided to cast my vote for: Thomas
As we've seen in the past presidents need to be vulnerable to criticism, unintelligent, dishonest, and bad at decision making, and I think that Thomas is the best man for the job.
