Firstly I thought since we use spikes back to back as an obsticle that arrows can go through could there be one tile which has little spikes on both top and bottom and would join together even if you wanted an odd number backed together?
Also I was wondering about a type of spike that destroyed any objects that landed on them, maybe called acid spikes and then when you have platforms destroyed with boulders you dont end up being able to just use the boulders as stepping stones instead. Also maybe arrow crates that fell on "acid spikes" would shoot their arrow.

acid spikes? no wait! flaming spikes! lol, I might as well propose to make a flaming class of tiles if I keep making these suggestions.
the idea of objects broken by spikes when they fall on them sounds like steel spikes (or flaming spikes-- actually no it would be a fire tile; no seriously I really pushed for a fire tile before, which would be like a spike but can destroy anything that touches it)
we could definitely do the "floating spike" tile idea | | canadianstickdeath |

"sounds like steel spikes"
I thought it sounded like fragile arrows myself... Totally agree with the flaming class. Just, set everything on fire. Terrain, crates, boulders, dynamite, spikes, doors... Doesn't matter what. | | jellsprout |

I think the general idea was that spikes will destroy and fragile and wooden class objects that fall on them, but will be broken by an indestructible or metal class object.
We could make a several types of spikes, where each one gets destroyed by higher classes of objects.
