these videos are generally (but not always) from the seventies or the eighties, however in any case they must predate the introduction of the internet to the general public. unenthusiastic acting and rudimentary 3d graphics are highly appreciated as well as the typeface futura. synthbeats are also a must and also bright text with a solid drop shadow to facilitate reading on a dim projector. the subject is generally some discipline of science

videos that do not fall under this category due to being too modern include: numberphile, khanacademy lectures, bald dudes wearing clever slogan t-shirts standing in a blank void and making wild hand gestures while acting surprised by the fact that equations are spontaneously appearing on the left side of the screen

anyway share your favourite retro educational videos here because they are my ultimate aesthetic

these ones are excellent because the title sequence would lead you to believe that you are viewing a period drama in the style of downton abbey until you see the montage of planets ending with a star wars-esque title card
