Try at a teleporter.
I'm thinking there should be a button that lights up when all of power boxes or whatever are collected. And that the beam should sparkle or whatever, but I got lazy.

Because Krotomo's version works only on white backgrounds, I made the beam semitransparent.

If there is just the base before you can use it, it might be kind of hard to see, seeing as how it's fairly small.

when the teleporter is activated, the green electricity appears and the beam. When there teleporter is not activated, there is no beam or electricity.

You could always have a flickery dull teleporter light then when the power boxes are collected a seizure-inducing green.

Yeah, but it looks a bit bulky to me for a high tech door. Maybe you could make the blocks on the side quite a lot skinnier?

Or remove the blocks, and keep just the teleporter and the beam. Saves a lot of space.

The blocks are really cool looking, though. Maybe we could just make them like doors in Hatpc, where they are scenery and it terrain is placed in a non-entrance spot, the part of the door is cut off.

This could do, but to me the blocks look a little too cartoony... needs more shading, and perhaps "highlight" the outlines where they face the light - the latter thing makes something look more 3D (in a way).
