Competition Rules:
The theme of this competition is "Innovation". Basically, as long as you're not making a "classic" cave of any specific genre, then you're probably good to go for this one. The more creative you are, the better chance you have of winning. Now, don't stress over the fact that you have to get some new ideas for this comp, because you don't. As long as you're doing things differently than the "normal" way you make a cave, then it qualifies. Your ideas don't have to be original either. If you saw a cave long ago that had a cool idea, then why not try to perfect that idea? Or if you have an idea that you were dying to try out, now's the perfect time. Like I said, as long as it doesn't turn out to be a "classic speed cave" or classic puzzle or classic whatever, then it's good.
And it has to be a new level, too. Why enter an old cave into the first comp of the new site?

now that this comp is in the system, you can see this comp on the right-side of the homepage, and on the Comps Archive, too.  I dunno, I might join this comp. I go back to school on Monday, so maybe making a cave will be a good way to rest from working on the site so much. | |

wow, we already have 2 entries. and if you still don't understand the theme, I just don't want the cave to be the same old stuff that most people have been doing. If you're cave is just another simple classic 'cave' then it doesn't qualify. But if you do things differently, like for example LivingInABox was different, the slackin caves, and even Octo-Path to an extent were different. And I guess NWUE2 was also different only because you had to get the extra life first. | |

well do you plan to join this comp? I'm making a cave right now, and it starts off with a pretty cool concept of hiding flying arrows behind dynamite explosions, so you can't see them. It's pretty cool. | |

I just hope you guys know that it is possible to remove a level from a competition on the 'My Comp Entries' page. my comp entry is coming along pretty good.
