We take any game focused on some form of user-made content and provide services that help our members share their creations, videos, guides, etc. We periodically hold competitions for these games too. Game: Only HATPC content is allowed Competition Rules: Make a tall cave. For your cave to count as a tall cave, its height needs to be at least 3 times bigger than its width, borders included.
So if you have a cave with a height of 120 and width of 20, you may enter it. But if it has a height of 80 and a width of 30, you may not enter it.

| Weekly Update, March 7 |  Unfortunately, the Interguild was kinda dead this week.
Last Sunday, HatPC Comp #34: Walkthrough Comp ended, but I just now found out that judging hasn't even started yet. Usually Isa's the one who opens judging, but he was in France this week and didn't get back until yesterday. And I guess we just can't rely on the rest of the staff. 
On Wednesday, Teo_pl posted a video walkthrough for Crucifying Victory 1. Yesterday, Orcassaur posted The Sup_Mus Marathon!! According to Orca, it's a parody of csd's Cedric Marathon, which is a parody of shos' Livio Marathon.
Last Sunday, Orcassaur posted his walkthrough comp entry called AllIDidWasNameIt. Harumbai that this level was amazing, and he rated it a 9.6/10. You can play this level right now, uploaded on lol_cave5.
Looks like we all missed Captain Obvious day. It's supposed to be on February 29th, but I don't know what happened; it's like that day never came, and now we're in March.  | | Post a comment >> |
| Weekly Update February 28 | Last Sunday, we re-released the results for the One-Trap competition in an effort to better handle the controversy of what exactly is one trap.
Also last Sunday, an Interguild Alert was issued as we discovered to our surprise that the Führer Dando52 is no longer in power over the Interguild. Apparently D52 is too busy trying to take over Mexico or something. However, Interguild members are coping with this loss much better than expected. Perhaps they find comfort knowing that the mysterious Captain Obvious will always save the day, like he did this morning.
We now have five members who are from Singapore: Ckjr, Evan, Sup_mus, Uberprofzud, and ThedeglitcherXD.
Some really cool videos were made this week, such as C.H.E.A.T. and Eternal Energy 3 and Detour Walkthrough.
Last week, I made a lot of progress with Aeon, but this week I worked mainly on the new layout. On Tuesday and Wednesday I didn't have to go into school until around noon because of standardized testing, so I had a lot of time to work on the layout. But on Wednesday, after receiving some criticism about the layout, I began working on an entirely different design.  As quirvy put it:Quirvy said: So, you wasted all of that time working on the layout, and not Aeon, and now you're working on a different layout!?
HatPC Comp #34: Walkthrough Comp ends in just a few hours! Despite general praise of how cool an idea this comp was, only two people joined. | Captain Obvious Saves the Day |  Earlier today, Livio was saved from certain doom, thanks to the efforts of our new member, Captain Obvious!
Livio was having trouble connecting to the internet. He said aloud to himself, "Why will my computer not connect to the internet?"
Then it happened.
Livio tells us, "then my ceiling exploded, and captain obvious came through my door, and said, 'Your computer is turned off.' then my door exploded too, and I was like, 'lol.' If it wasn't for him, I would have never figured out that my computer was not turned on. But I still haven't figured out how to turn it on"
Livio also adds that "lol"
Captain Obvious has been showing up on occasion, recently, saving the day, by informing people on facts that they could have figured out on their own, such as when he sent a private message to jellsprout informing him that his cave, Genesis, is way too hard.
The true identity of Captain Obvious is not know.
