You said the average in Israel was 110, which would mean the average Israelite was a genius. The IQ test is designed such that the average is 100 and the standard deviation is 15. An average of 110 is exceptionally high.

I don't think there actually are any reliable IQ tests on the internet. I had my IQ tested twice in my life, when I was 5 and when I was 14. I don't remember what the test was like when I was 5, but when I did it to get accepted to my highschool class, it was fun

in israel that is considered a gifted mind. IIRC, 130 is theusual limit for that, and then there's sub-rankings lol, genius, uber genius, uber uber genius XD

Gifted lol. those rankings start ever next standard deviation. so 130-140 is gifted regular, 140-150 is highly gifted or some bull like that, then 150-160 is genius, 160-180 is super-genius, and above 180 is classified-level-genius XD

there was once some TV thing about the israel Mensa institute. to get in, you get a test with 18 questions; you have three hours. if you solve any one question correctly, you're accepted. so then that guy who was 'classified-level-high-IQ' apparantly solved all of them

Also, it's worth noting that there are multiple IQ scales. In one, I'm about 136, in the other one, I'm something stupid like 190. But more important is the fact that IQ is not always an accurate measure of what people perceive as intelligence. It tries, but describing human intelligence is complicated and generally pointless. Some people believe that there's no such thing as general intelligence, instead saying that there are just many different types of intelligence. An IQ test would measure one type, (or an odd average of several types) but not others. I think wikipedia actually has a nice discussion about IQ and intelligence testing.

Sniper, it does not test people's intelligence; one could have a 160 IQ and not know how to read. The IQ tests ability, and it tends to be quiet accurate in most cases, if you're looking at the processing power and speed of the brain.

If everyone actually had their claimed internet IQ in real life, the average IQ would be ~140.

I've stopped caring what people claim their IQ are because it's used to brag more than anything else and it's usually based on "ARE YOU A GENIUS" tests.

When my friend pulled up a test that everyone in the room solved (~6 guys aged something like 14-15), the test was in English and we all got scores of 140 or so, we knew it was rubbish.

Measuring IQ is hard and unreliable, and mostly good for kicks.
