Get one and you will be like totally popular with like 300 people. Or 50 close to reasonably close friends in my case. | | Bmwsu |

To be honest, mate, it ain't that amazing - it's only worth it if you're obsessed with pretending to be friends with people you've never met and spying on your friends' lives. I don't use it much and when I do, it's to spy on my friends' lives. | | Bmwsu |

Yeah, but i just love chatting with people, and I don't know anyone that I chat with in real life, so i would make a FB to chat with real life friend.

I just use the phone - it's quicker. Another reason to join Facebook is to become a member of a really useless group like the 'Guy that looks like a thumb!' fanclub. | | Bmwsu |

But still.
85% of my social life is online, and I think that's pretty sad, but it's even more sad when it's people I don't really know. I would at least prefer to talk to people that I know.

Fair dinkum. I was the same when I was your age and to some extent, still am. If it helps you keep in touch with real life friends, then nag your parents to allow you to have one. | | Bmwsu |

My name is Axel Wik, shos is Shoval Zoran, Ckjr is Kian Jia Ren. That's what I know anyway. You're James Brill, right? Too bad there's too many of those for me to figure which one is the correct one | | dabigkid |

I don't care personally. A person I talk to is a person I talk to... I'm actually a lot closer with a few people I know online than most people IRL. Actually, I hang out with someone I met online every other week!
Not that I need to add any more people I barely know but.... eh http://www.facebook.com/dwreeves | | Isa |

I don't have a Facebook account, but I've been told to get one by a few people.
But that would be strange, having real-life friends and internet-friends in the same little list. It'd be strange for me, anyway; there's like a little barrier separating my internet life and my real life. What if I posted something that both a real-life friend and an internet-friend commented on?! What if they actually started talking?! My delicate social barriers would come crashing down before my very eyes! | | shos |

Exactly why my facebook is for people I know IRL only.

Yeah, it must be awful to help people communicate with and befriend each other. | | shos |

Yeah, it must be awful to help people communicate with and befriend each other. that's the whole idea, that you don't need to do that. you guys speak your language, not ours =]
