Hey guys, I've got Minecraft. I've got a pretty cool idea. Basically, the thing saying 'Seed Generator' gives your level a random seed if you leave it blank. However, if two people used the same seed, they would have exactly the same worlds, they would just spawn in a different place. So my idea is that all people who have Minecraft could all enter in the seed 'Interguild' and, for example, if someone finds diamond ore, they could share the co-ordinates of it! Anyone else like this idea?

EDIT: I've just tried it. The world seems pretty funky lol   It has a tonne of floating Islands and things...

EDIT 2: HOLY ****! Lava is just sitting there on the top of the ground, not underground or anything!

Try "Glacier".  (Capitalize the G)

Look around.  You might see a bit of awesomeness.

EDIT: Oh yeah!  "Notch" is a great flat one, too.

I just got minecraft, made 3 houses walked round this big hill that was next to it and then couldn't find the houses again! Greenworld likes killing sheep with sand and made a sand tower so high he couldn't build any higher, then I moved one of the keys slightly and he fell of and died. The seed he was using was 'matthews world'.

My fireplace just burned my house down

I made a nice little wooden house with a garden which had trees growing one on top of each other and a bridge between the two. Then I accidentally set fire to one of the trees and I wasn't able to destroy the bridge in time so my house burned down. I got so annoyed I blew the whole place up with dynamite about 30 squares deep and poured lava down the sides.

That's why I never even make a flint and steel in the first place.

Oh my God; for some reason this minecraft roller coaster it made me almost cry.

Wow, that is so cool! I see you've made it with brick so it doesn't burn down. But did you use any editing programs?
  

I use lolEditor. (I prefer it to invEdit 'cause you can set your spawn and health) But it was al built in game, no map editing.

Try MCedit; you can edit the whole world. I made  a gigantic tree, but burned it down and made a house containing the whole map and a hole which went deeper than bedrock!
