I play Dwarf Fortress. In Dwarf Fortress, you basically control about 100 Minecraft players.

I've heard about it in several other places. It appears to be pretty solid. But I don't think it is free, which is a shame.

I spent a while updating my video drivers today in order to play minecraft and tried the demo. I got 5-25 veeerrry shaky FPS on fast/tiny. You have to play on peaceful since you have no chance against the mobs. I could barely even track down a sheep.

Found a pretty epic cave in the demo world, IMO. It had a surface opening, a dungeon that opens into lava and 7 diamond that I could find before I ran out of time. I didn't get close to exploring it all, but after the demo ran out I tried to find a way out in the dark. Eventually swam up a really long waterfall to find the rather large surface opening, but it was two-tiles high all the way around so I couldn't actually get out in the end, lol. You can't use F3 in the demo so I have no idea where I was.

I'd buy this game if I weren't broke and my computer weren't so jumpy.

Get too many items mod. it is in game inv edit. good for building a house
