Oh yes, a couple more webcomics - Stage Select, a hand-drawn Mega Man comic, and Two Evil Scientists, which is Mega Man + Sonic, it's REALLY good but it's currently on a really damn big hiatus. Oh well. | | jellsprout |

I read Dork Tower. Anyone else?
But not online even though I believe it's originally a web comic.
I have a bunch of Dork Tower Collection Books.

Last week I read Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud. It's a pretty famous book in the world of game design, probably because of the way he analyzes comics as a not-so new medium and his analysis of what makes for good or "deep" art. I definitely learned a lot from it, though.
The story of how I got my hands on the book is pretty funny, though. I had already heard of the book a few times over the summer, but when classes started, I started getting emails from a teacher who thought I was in her class. Turns out that the class was something about comics, and one of their required texts was that very book. So I go to the library to see if they have the book and they do! They actually have an autographed copy of the book, and because of this added value, the book was placed under the Special Collections section. You are not allowed to check out the books from that section, or even browse through them. When you go there you have to tell them what item you want, then when they give it to you, you have to leave all your stuff in one area, and they tell you which table you can sit at.
It was probably more than it should've been. | | Isa |
