New years resolutions? Nope. Never really done them (except maybe in elementary school when the teachers make you come up with them), probably never will. My perspective: The thing about New Years resolutions is that they're only care about them during the new year. You (or at least I) never hear anyone in July talking about how well their New Year's resolution is going. If you really wanted to change something about your life enough, you wouldn't have waited until New Years Day to decide that you want to make that change. Any changes in my life aren't going to be because it's the new year. That said, general change in my life that I've been struggling with for a while: I'd like to go to bed earlier, I stay up way too late* and I haven't really been making much progress. Something I'll probably try to tackle when next semester starts. Speaking of staying up late and needing to go to bed... *(not nearly as late as some of you people, though; y'all are crazy. I don't like to say my new year's resolution is to stop cramming with assignments. I kinda love cramming coz it gives me adrenaline rush like it's an energy drink. It's good to be back. | |
