You know, I was thinking of getting an internship at Microsoft, but I'm not sure I want their lameness to rub off on me.

I usually support only doing what you like; there's money everywhere eventually, even with pure mathematics degree >_>;

In spite of common belief, a major in mathematics actually has one of the highest job securities of all majors. It is not as high as physics or some engineering majors, but if you take mathematics as a major you can pretty much be assured to get a solid job in a few months.
Remember, there is more to mathematics than just "suppose A=B". Every field of engineering, most fields of economics and accounting, most fields of computer science and most fields of science use some form of mathematics. Everything else they learn is just details to their specific field that can easily be picked up by someone with as much experience in solving problems as a mathematician.
If you want job security, any major heavy in math is recommended. It are the art, history and linguistics majors that will give you trouble.

I know that, but in israel Math is completely dominated in the market by practically everything. Every year there's probably around 100 new students to math in the entire country, and even these, some are half-half with physics, some with CS, etc. that's why I took the example~

my degree was math and physics - math because I love it, and physics because it's more practical.

about all college/university stuff. Quirvy be lucky, like me and jell, that we found something that we like and are good at. some of my friends have by now already got discharged from the army and they're doing their SATs now, but none knows what they want to study. I usually support only doing what you like; there's money everywhere eventually, even with pure mathematics degree >_>;

Yeah, I agree with only doing what you like. I'd much rather make a modest salary doing something I really enjoy than make a ton of money doing something I don't. The problem is just deciding what I enjoy most. I'm pretty bad at making big decisions...

if you're interested in creative writing, I will link you to a Mafia game in which I'm dead; the mod is a professinal storyteller and he crafts INCREDIBLE flavor; it's extremely long and will probably be collected later to some kind of a minibook/series/something. It's lovely, I advise everyone to read.

The story is written during the game and sorta according to it(characters die etc), it's in a spoiler onthe first page, collected together.

Wow, that is good. That's a lot of work, jeez...

secondly, explain, 3X Neopian Times champion. what? The Eragotten Legacy???

Man, I forgot about that. It's really bad, lol. All I remember about that is I took the name "Joseph Blanchette" from LegendaryFrog of Newgrounds. *nostalgia*
