I was thinking that we could hold some Minecraft competitions on the site. Here's one-

Stadiums

Whether it is a fake sport (like spleefing) stadium or a real sport like football, make a stadium for it! Send in you pictures and videos by  May 1st. Thanks!

Griefing! On MCedit make objects, then give everyone tools and the person who destroys the whole of their own object the fastest wins! Here's few dangerous sports! There could be plain out battles with armour and swords, ect. There could be a game where each team has buckets of lava and the first team who gets lava in their goal loses. Or you have to blow the they other teams goals up with dynamite. Just a few ideas, I'll think some more about them later

If we ever held any kind of Minecraft comp, how much time would we have to give? Isn't MC super time consuming?

Depends.  If you have the right plan, you know what and how you are going to build, and you can do more of it in one run (At least, that helps me) you can get it done fairly quickly.  And obviously the size of it makes a huge difference, and how much details you want to put into it. (Do you want seats and bedrooms and kitchens, or do you just want the outside to look awesome?)

come to think of it, minecraft competitions could just be challenges to build things around the server. imagine we had several stadiums built because of this, that'd be cool

Or a mega stadium where everybody buils their own stadiums in. Like a building with smaller builings inside... or just spontaneous staiums...
