I just spent about an hour and a half customizing my desktop, and I wanted to show it off. So, post your desktops here for all to see!

Spoiler:
Man, am I predictable. My desktop is pretty normal for the exact reason that I don't like people to look over my shoulder to see what is on my desktop. The only unordinary things I keep on there are the ones that I access enough to justify the risk of someone asking a question. Anything beyond that I keep tucking away in my Documents, Downloads, and stuff.

COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.
Give me +karma. Give me +karma.

All you need to know about my desktop is that my wallpaper is Asuka Shikinami Langley. And she's positioned in such a way that, because of where I place my windows on the desktop -- basically covering all of her except for her head -- it always looks like she's silently judging me for what websites I visit.

The left half is the stuff that I don't use. The right half is stuff that I use frequently.
Likewise, stuff like fiddler/chrome are always open.

the more concerning problem is why your screenshots are one pixel short of 1080p

but yeah i don't really need the extra resolution maybe in another few years

Ha! You think yours is messy? I have a ton of random stuff that I probably downloaded eons ago but still haven't gotten rid of. It also periodically gets messier when I play a game that I need to lower the resolution for because my computer is from the stone age. I sort of try to group things in the same category together but it only sort of works out. (e.g. games, uploaded photos, etc.)

Mutts, is it still that failure installer file for IZArc I linked you to at the bottom right corner? ;d And hey, Jebby, I never saw anyone using Lightworks, it was too complicated for me either.

Haha, I only looked at it briefly - it had a pretty weird interface, though maybe I'm just used to Vegas Pro. Apparently it's good though, so I should be able to make some decent videos with it once I figure it out. I'm only using it because I don't want to risk using a key cracker for Vegas Pro on my desktop PC.

Speaking of which, there should be "Show off your desktop PC!" thread.

I was actually suggesting that people just take a picture of their sweet rig (if they have one). But that'll do just fine for the technically-minded. >D

EDIT: I'd be careful posting something like that on the Internet. It seems extremely unlikely, but there could be people out there who could glean potential security vulnerabilities from that output and, along with your IP address, exploit your machine. Looking through it, I don't think there's a problem, but I'd personally avoid posting it in case someone who knows more about hackzorz than me gave you a nasty surprise.

FURTHER EDIT: I Googled it and the Internet reckons it's okay to share these diagnostic files. You're probably fine.
