I'm on a vacation. That's why I don't contribute to the CaveMaking Tennis boards.

Um, what's atheist christmas? I know what an atheist is (I'm one myself) but what counts as atheist?

We have some odd traditions regarding christmas here in Sweden. We eat..let's see...LOADS of fish, mostly different variations off pickled herring. Then, we eat Christmas ham, potatoes, meatballs, chipolatas, more variations of herring...

..and 15:00, 50% of the swedish population gathers around the TV and watches Donald Duck celebrate Christmas. We're currently around 9 million habitants, now imagine if half of the whole America were to watch Mickey Mouse or something at Christmas

it's when you celebrate Christmas for the heck of it, with no religious motivation at all. you must be celebrating Atheist Christmas then.

unless you celebrating the whole Santa Claus thing. that's a religion of its own

Well, Santa is a huge part in that tradition, but nobody over 10 believes in him...Dunno, we must be dumb not to do so.

you'd be surprised how many little kids believe in him. one might think of it being part of a larger conspiracy plotted by the government to stimulate the economy. same thing with Halloween.

and I don't know why parents who don't believe in him would try to make their kids believe in him. It's just sick.

well, my family (and our culture) is really religious so I've always thought of Santa clause more as a cartoon character to represent Christmas. Kinda like how "Uncle Sam" is used to represent America in political cartoons

Don't spoil the Santa plot for the youngsters!

I've always thought Christianity and everything related to it (Judaism, Islam) is kinda...weird. Never got the hang of it. Buddhism, on the other hand, hits the spot. I for one, beieve in reincarnation, and I support the Buddhist movement.

I don't classify myself as a Buddhist though.

I saw a report on the news about how more people are starting to believe in reincarnation. It's definitely an interesting idea.

lol, speaking of Santa, here's a quote from an IGN article:
'(Supposed to be written from Santa's point of view...)' said:
When I'm not working the elves near to death in a slavelike operation that is so illegal I have to operate out of the North Pole,. . .

haha, I actually loled at that first part.

even though it's Christmas, it doesn't feel like it this year. maybe because it's been a very boring vacation so far (but working on the Interguild is never boring ) and it's also been ominously cloudy for the past few days here. I guess that's the closest thing to a white christmas that you can get here in Arizona. btw, did anyone notice that IceCaves.net put up a Christmas-themed music player? maybe if I listen to that, I can get into the right mood.

Merry Christmas Eve to all those in GMT-xx time! It's christmas in SG. But I don't celebrate christmas for some odd reason though...only my sister's 1st birthday (which is on 24 December 2007).

You don't get snow here in NZ, except in the Southern part of the South Island. I live in Wellington on the North island. The closest thing to snow there is properly rain and clouds.

It's 11pm over here, and I've been working on the site so much that I forgot it was Christmas Eve. even if I am working on the laptop next to all my relatives as they talk about stuff. I did so much stuff, if I post a list of all the tiny things I've done and fixed, then I'll forget to add most of it. right now, I'm still working on the "my levels" file, and in it you can:

-load the main page, which displays:
---your first 40 series, and some of their stats
---your series link to the edit series-page and a page that lets you view all the levels in that series.
---a link to view the all of your series in another page if you have more than 40 (and that's just ridiculous already) and then that page has pagination for like 50 series per page.
---then it shows your first 80 levels and a link to a page to see them all with pagination if you have more than 80.
---the levels list shows some stats, and links to the edit-levels page.
-in the edit-series page you can edit your stats (it's more complicated than it sounds) and look at the broken button that will allow you to delete the series
-in the edit-levels page you can only look at all of your information show up in form inputs and textboxes. it doesn't work yet, but I got the level code to be taken from the file and displayed in the textbox, at least.

none of the delete options work, but that's the last thing I need to do, along with finishing the second half of the edit-levels page (the part that actually puts the information in the database).

well, tomorrow's Christmas Day. I'll either be on a lot or a little.

yes! I got all the edit things working! I even put up some safeguards against csd's hacking. but that's one major step towards release b/c now all I need to do to finish the my levels page is to make deleting work. After that, I can make the pages for browsing the whole gallery system and that's easy.

Great work Accel! How long do you think it will take you to finish the galleries?

In the northern parts of Sweden, there's quite a lot of snow. Guess what, I live in the southern parts (or rather the middle, but still not the northern) but we're on vacation to Umeå, which is located in the northern parts of Sweden.

There's no snow here in the Netherlands at all. It probably won't start snowing till February or March.

I could try to release the galleries today as a sort of Christmas gift to the Interguild. but you wouldn't want rushed work, would you? we'll see what happens...

I think I can finish the galleries at least by the end of the day and at most in 2 days. but I don't plan on putting the search up until after I can release the comps.

Hope everyone had a good time. I got a vibrating gaming chair - I wonder if I could hook up HATPC to that lol. It was my birthday today - I get closer to the status of the unfree.
