Welcome to the Interguild's Video Archive! This is a database of all of the videos that our members have made. While we do not provide a way for you to directly upload videos onto our site, we let users upload them to their own accounts on video sites such as Youtube or Google Video. We then embed the videos onto here so that you can find them all in one place.

I'm not sure how I found the time to do this last night, Quirvy. It's just hard for me to stop doing something once I start it. No more requests though! It's against my unwritten rules, or something. Although the cave was better than I expected it to be (the intro is a real turn-off, but the puzzles were nice) and I guess I felt more inclined to get the walkthrough finished with after beating it.
The quality appears to suck, but if you mouse over the little button in the bottom right of the embedded video up there and click the "HQ" you can view it in high quality (which I recommend, if you have a decent connection), you'll see that it's actually really good. Also, I forgot to set the video length and can't edit it (which is really lame), but it's 3:22 if an admin wants to fix that. Also also, I used Camstudio to record this one and it's a bit better about not skipping foward and lagging, so it only happens once.
Anyway, yeah, enjoy. | | Teo |

If the song is 19-2000 (Soulchild Remix), by Gorillaz, I will donate you all my dubloons. It would be epic.
Too bad I cannot donate you points right now
Good walkthrough, but why did you skip some frames around 1.42? I suppose it was Camstudio's fault.

I took half a month to complete this without any editing. Anyway, great walkthrough!

Wow, I didn't expect this so soon. I wasn't even sure whether or not to expect it at all, with Isa complaining about the last 2 traps being evil.
Although, you really kinda got lucky at the last arrow trap. You don't always make jumps into 2 spaced area's. Other than that, you did this cave perfectly.
And the thing with the beginning is that I was just screwing around with cavemaker, not expecting to ever release it, and then as I eventually went on in the cave, I realised that it actually made for a decent cave.
And for those wondering, yes the first trap is cheatable. You don't need to point that out. Only real caveplayers take the intended path

You use CamStudio? When I still recorded with that, it only recorded a smaller window!
But boy are you lucky to have an extremely fast computer. I have a slow one!
Nice wt. The music is kind of weird, though. =i | | Sefro |

Yeah Isa, the instance at 1:42 was Camstudio's fault, although I have to give credit to Camstudio for making much more stable videos than Hypercam makes. I recorded this with Hypercam to begin with and the video wound up losing about a minute of footage due to skipping, even after I fiddled with (lowered) the FPS and quality.
And yeah, this cave took almost an hour for me to beat (no thanks to the painfully long intro <_<). I actually enjoyed solving the puzzles here; I thought they were a pretty perfect difficulty: not hard, but not easy enough to figure out without some thought or foresight. The only thing stopping this cave from being fantastic, in my opinion, is the intro: it's punishment enough to start from the beginning of the level when you die, but having to start from the beginning and sit through 30 seconds of arrow-jumping is just too much. I know you weren't entirely sure you were going to release the cave when you threw that in, but still, bleh! It would have been better without the ten-second arrow-jumping session that follows shortly after the intro, too.
But hey, I enjoyed the cave anyway and that's what matters most to me. Is LDII as good? | | Quirvy |

Umm...
Well, look at the walkthrough for yourself to get an opinion on how fun/difficult it is:

Oh... bleh.
You should make LDIII and make it like the first one. After you make The Ascent II and Underconstruction II.
