By the way, if you didn't notice, I put up a poll for the Minecraft project ideas. | | Yaya |

Whatever creation wins the poll, do you plan on building it in Survival or Creative? Or has that not been decided yet?

We could use more people from the IG voting. Even if you won't participate, we want to know what projects we should do. | | Yaya |

I think you put in too many options. If anything is gonna win, it'll probably do so with only 2-3 votes. So many options discourages voting in things that don't have any votes yet because the chances of them winning at this point are so small.

Just make a second poll after this poll is over with all the lowest choices (with 0 votes) eliminated if it's really a problem.

I got it for $5 from the Humble Store a little while back, which is a steal for the best Pigeon Dating Simulator on the market right now. I finished it this morning, and I can say I was not expecting a pigeon-themed game to be hilarious, heartwarming, and horrifying all in one. I don't like dating sims, but most of the problems I have with them seem to be alleviated when your suitors are birds. It's fun to see which bird you naturally gravitate towards (I knew I was destined to bag the doctor upon meeting him).
The routes you can take (which bird you end up with) are split about 50/50 between parodies of standard romance stories, but with better writing, more self awareness, and birds, all of which make them fun, then the other possible routes are just absolute out of nowhere insanity, which also is very fun. Admittedly it gets tedious if you're trying to get all the routes since by the end you'll be fast forwarding through droves of dialogue that's the same for all routes in order to get to the unique bits, but it's totally worth it because completing every path unlocks a secret path which is like four times as long as a typical route, and this secret path basically dwarfs any previous insanity found in the game. It's probably the best of what the game has to offer, the only downside being that it is less choice driven than the other paths. It began to feel like Metal Gear Pigeon towards the end instead of a dating sim, but I'm sure not complaining. But yeah, that screenie I posted ranks on the lower end of the WTF spectrum found in the game

To be honest, the game is actually pretty heartrending at times.

Omg, Jazz understands. He knows what he's talking about, that first thing he describes was really touching, and the game is full of moving stuff

So it looks like it's a Mountain Town. When should we go on to start this, and where should it be? | | Yaya |

I don't think it really matters when we start it as long as someone takes the first step and begins to build something. I imagine the town won't be built overnight, so IMO it's fine to start it whenever and have it continue as an ongoing project until everyone is satisfied with their contributions.
It's kinda hard to locate mountains on the dynamap unless you really zoom in. But if I gave general preferences, they'd be
1. Secluded. Or at least not next door to another fully built town. Since we're building a town from scratch, I'd assume it'll be some sort of destination when it's done, so it can be built away from typical center-of-server glut of projects.
2. No snow. Mountains exist in snowy and grassy biomes, I'd personally opt for grassy just because I think it'll look better and give more possible locations.
Heck I guess since most people involved in this project have world edit, you could build your own mountain range if you really wanted to.

I thought there was going to be another poll with the options that got 0 votes removed. What happened to that?

A better system would be to get rid of all of the ones that got 0 and 1 votes so we can see what people would vote for out of the two majorities, which is what I should have already done by the time you're reading this... | | krotomo |

So it looks like canal-based city won over mountain town. I'll look for a good spot on the InterServer. | | atvelonis |
